Cloud plans

The plans we intend to offer for SpecsGraph Cloud once it launches, how seats will be counted, and why self-hosting is how you run SpecsGraph today.

Note

SpecsGraph Cloud is coming soon

Cloud is not available yet, so there is nothing to sign up for or pay for today. The self-hosted edition is available now: the complete product, free, on your own servers. Start with the self-hosting overview.

What we plan to offer

We plan to offer SpecsGraph Cloud in three plans: Solo, Team and Enterprise. None of them is available yet, and we have not set a launch date. Each will run the same open-source product you can host yourself today; they will differ in who can sign in, the support behind you and how the service is contracted. The pricing page shows the plans as they stand.

PlanMade forPlanned to include
SoloFor one person modeling a system.Full workspace, 1 seat, versioned specs, MCP agent access, community support
TeamFor product and engineering teams shaping one system together.Everything in Solo, shared modeling, review workflows, priority support with SLA
EnterpriseFor organizations with strict requirements.Everything in Team, dedicated single-tenant hosting in your region, custom contracts, security reviews, named account lead

Every plan will have the system graph, the glossary, proposals with approval, the decision log, publishing to GitHub and agent access over MCP. On Solo you will approve your own agents' proposals; Team will add shared modeling, review workflows and priority support with SLA. Enterprise will be arranged with us directly.

How seats will work

On Cloud, a seat will be any person who can sign in to the workspace, whatever their role: a Viewer who only reads and comments will take a seat, just like an Editor. Agents connected over MCP will not be seats, because they act through a member's personal access token, and adding a project will not add seats. The self-hosted edition does not count seats at all.

Paid support plans with an SLA, for Cloud and for self-hosted installs, are coming soon as well. Until then, help comes from the community on Discord (opens in a new tab) and from GitHub issues (opens in a new tab).

Run SpecsGraph today

The self-hosted edition is free and is the complete product. You take on hosting and network security, upgrades and patches, backups and uptime, and your own GitHub App. Install with Docker Compose gets a server running, and the self-host page compares it with the planned Cloud. Your specs live in your repository either way, and once Cloud launches you will be able to move your workspace to it.

Next steps

  • Pricing: the free self-hosted edition and the planned plans.
  • Quickstart: install SpecsGraph and publish a first requirement.
  • Security and your data: what Cloud will store and how you will export it.
